The IPC team works on CFD methods development. We identify and develop potential and existing customers. We support the development of new business developing workflows that address key industrial challenges or burning topics from our customer base. As an intern you will be working on Life Science related CFD topics for our customers, develop workflows, process automation and others.
What will be your role?
After an initial training-on-the-job to learn the tools, you will cover the complete process from the geometry model build-up to the simulation execution, results analysis and technical reports and technical reports preparation. Your creativity and critical sense will be required to propose solutions to engineering challenges on the product, or improvements to the simulation process or accuracy.
Your tasks involve:
- Development, validation and deployment of new methodologies
- Optimization of existing simulation processes
- Conferences publications
- Service projects execution for customers
The possibilities ahead:
- You get a deep insight into an international software company
- You can network with internal and external stakeholders
Your key success factors:
- You are studying Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering, CFD or something similar
- You have a practical knowledge of fluid dynamics and computational fluid dynamics
- You are interested in life science, as well as aerodynamics and/or aeroacoustics
- You are familiar with common CAD (CATIA) or Geometry Prep Tools
- You are fluent in English
